About Me – What Defines Me Best as a Teacher What defines me best as a teacher is my dedication to creating a learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired. I believe that education is not just about delivering content but about building confidence, curiosity, and character. My teaching approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and adaptability—I strive to meet students where they are and guide them forward in a way that feels meaningful and achievable. I’m always learning myself, and I bring that growth mindset into the classroom to model resilience and lifelong learning.
My academic journey began at Springdales School in New Delhi, India, and culminated in a PhD from the University of Delhi. I pursued doctoral and post-doctoral research at esteemed institutions such as Oxford University, the South Center in Geneva, and the United Nations University in Germany. In addition to my academic achievements, I hold qualifications in diverse fields including Management, Civil Society Leadership, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, and Art Appreciation—broadening my professional repertoire. I am also proficient in several languages, including Latin, Hebrew, French, German, and Sanskrit. My career has been marked by numerous accolades, fellowships, and recognitions that reflect my contributions to international development, academia, human rights, policy-making, corporate social responsibility, and humanitarian governance. Beyond my professional work, I have a wide range of personal interests—from creative expression to athletic pursuits. I have a deep appreciation for art, music, literature, and poetry, and I actively contribute to these fields through writing, painting, sketching, and composing. My artistic interests also extend to pottery, Ikebana, and art critique. On the athletic front, I have competed in Badminton at both State and National levels in India, reflecting my commitment to a balanced and holistic life. Having traveled to over 70 countries, I bring a global perspective to everything I do and am deeply committed to fostering cross-cultural understanding and meaningful collaboration in all areas of my work and life.
